Watson Lake Mountain Loop Trail (Prescott, Arizona) April 22, 2019

We had previously experienced the impressive mountain formations called the GRANITE DELLS, adjacent our campground in PRESCOTT, ARIZONA, from the surrounding vista points and also from our kayaks two days prior as we explored beautiful WATSON LAKE. Today we decided to HIKE 5 ½ miles around the lake on the very vigorous WATSON LAKE MOUNTAIN LOOP TRAIL. The scenery was some of the most stunning we have witnessed. The rock formations were unique as we looked in every direction. The colors and diversity of the various landscapes we traversed were incredible.  Sixty percent of the hike was along the edges of the mountains, or up and over large boulders and rock formations. The hike was not for the faint of heart. Take a look at the pictures that were taken today, and see if you agree that this place is amazing and without question, simply stunning.

Prescott, Arizona – Lake Watson Park (Kayaking the Granite Dells) April 20, 2019

We traveled from Tucson to PRESCOTT, ARIZONA yesterday to visit my cousin LINDA HARRIS and her family and enjoy the beautiful area for a few days. Prescott is an historic, bustling, well preserved town, located at 5,367 FEET ELEVATION and is surrounded by mountains in every direction. We had a wonderful breakfast catching up with Linda and her “sweetheart,” Alan, this morning, and we also look forward to visiting with them again tomorrow for Easter.  Afterward breakfast, Anna and I went KAYAKING for 2 ½ hours on the stunningly beautiful LAKE WATSON within the so-called, amazing “GRANITE DELLS” area of Prescott. The unique mountain lake, surrounded by the most interesting and unique mountain rock formations, was absolutely beautiful. We traversed through and around the lake, and through many stand-alone structures, coves, and river heads. This was one our most wonderful and peaceful days ever. Once again, God’s creation is beyond awe-inspiring!!!!!
